extreme climber Ellen Miller   There are numerous ambitious hobby runners and sportive orientated hikers entering the GORE-TEX™ Transalpine-Run 2007, but also hard boiled mountain-pros, like extreme climber and endurance sports athlete Ellen Miller.

Ellen Miller from Colorado, USA was the first American woman and fourth woman ever to summit the Mt. Everest from both sides, the North and the South, abd this within the same year. Besides her mountaineering experience including summits of Cho-Oyu, Mt. McKinley, Aconcaqua, Mt. Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, the enthusiastic climber is a sponsored competitive athlete during the last 15 years. The 48-years-old is participating in mountain running, snowshoeing, mountain biking, Nordic skiing as well as long multi-day, multidiscipline races in Patagonia, Borneo and China. In addition she is leading the program Mountain Diva in her hometown, a motivational fitness program for people who want to hike, run or climb their way into shape while experiencing the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

This vita shows that Ellen Miller is exactly right at the GORE-TEX™ Transalpine-Run.
She will start with Blondie Vuvich (58), who also is an experienced marathon and mountain runner as team "GOLITE-MOUNTAIN DIVAS". So, if you can catch up with her, you might can get some tips from the pros with number 42.
